6.1 "Sale" and "Sharing" Under the CCPA

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. However, our use of certain advertising and analytics cookies (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Ads remarketing) may constitute "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA's broad definition. You may opt out of this sharing at any time — see Section 8, "Your California Privacy Rights," and our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information"

We may retain de-identified or aggregated data indefinitely for analytics and business planning purposes, as such data is no longer "personal information" under the CCPA.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — to the extent we process sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to provide the Services (we do not currently do so for advertising purposes).

You may submit a request by:

Emailing us at [email protected]

We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request, which may require you to confirm information associated with your account (e.g., matching the email address on file). You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification requirements under CCPA regulations.

We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days, with a possible 45-day extension where reasonably necessary (with notice to you of the extension).

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate our website, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and deliver relevant advertising. Categories of cookies we use:

Essential Cookies — required for website functionality (e.g., completing the Health Scorecard).

Analytics Cookies — help us understand how visitors use our website (e.g., Google Analytics).

Advertising Cookies — used to deliver and measure ads across platforms (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Ads, YouTube remarketing); use of these cookies may constitute "sharing" under the CCPA.

You can control cookies through your browser settings or, where available, through our cookie consent banner. Opting out of advertising cookies will not affect essential website functionality but may result in less relevant advertising.

We currently do not respond to browser "Global Privacy Control" (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out-of-sale/sharing request, consistent with CPRA regulations.

10. Email and SMS Marketing

If you provide your email address or phone number (e.g., via the Health Scorecard, Assessment, or enrollment), you may receive marketing communications from us. You may opt out at any time by:

Clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email (CAN-SPAM Act compliance)

Replying "STOP" to any marketing SMS message

Emailing us at [email protected]

Transactional or account-related messages (e.g., payment receipts, coaching call reminders) are not considered marketing and may continue even if you opt out of marketing communications, as permitted by law.
